The Yorkshire Shepherdess returned to TV screens on Tuesday morning

Amanda Owen, 50, has prompted a number of Our Yorkshire Farm fans to voice their concern after she joined Lorraine Kelly, 65, for a televised interview on Tuesday morning.

The Yorkshire Shepherdess joined the daytime TV presenter to share the latest goings-on at Ravenseat ahead of the return of her More4 series, Our Farm Next Door.

In the series, Amanda and her ex-husband Clive are joined by their nine children as they restore a derelict neighbouring farmhouse back to its former glory.

However, in true Yorkshire Shepherdess style, things aren't always plain sailing as the More4 series delves into the trials and tribulations the Owen clan faces, juggling farm life with the restoration.

Amanda shed light on the chaotic scenes at Ravenseat when she joined Lorraine via video link from the farm, although she wasn't alone.

Sporting a figure-hugging brown vest and jeans, the Our Yorkshire Farm star was joined by one of her many horses for the interview, but it became clear moments in that she was struggling to grapple with the restless beast.

"I mean, time flies," Amanda began at the top of the chat when asked about the year-long renovation.

"I just gauge everything by the fact that I'm back at lambing time again... for the last few weeks, it's just been a fog of sheep! That's all I've been thinking about, the building project has been taking a back step."

As the horse began to shuffle away from Amanda, who was leaning up against the animal, Lorraine asked if the horse wanted to "toddle off" due to the fact that the farmer appeared to be struggling to keep him still.

Trying to make light of the situation, Amanda said: "The thing is, it's always chaos and calamities here. I'm sure that's what people tune in for, let's be honest about it!

"People always say to me, 'So what's the programme actually about?' And I say, 'Well, I don't know - it's a little bit of Time Team, it's a little bit of history, it's a little bit of Location, Location, Location, a bit of Countryfile - but it's all run by the Osbornes!' It's a complete mash-up; we don't know what every day brings. We're just making it up as we go along."

Lorraine then turned attention to the "civilised separation" between Amanda and Clive, considering they decided to work together again.

"It's all about moving forward," Amanda said. "I mean, come on, we've got plenty to amuse ourselves with... This space! There's room to get away from each other, if we're being honest here! If we got on like a house on fire, we wouldn't be separated.

"The truth of the matter is we've got nine children, I think people lose track that we do reality and reality comes with its ups and downs, it's not all sunshine and springtime," Amanda continued before becoming distracted.

"I'm just watching that the horse doesn't get his foot caught in a cable!"

For the rest of the interview, Amanda delved further into the chaotic scenes inside the house with "goats running through" and children covered in "lamb poo" and "snot" before school.

She also touched upon her decision to start homeschooling her 13-year-old son Sydney.

While Lorraine signed off by paying tribute to the mum-of-nine, viewers at home had grown concerned due to the rather erratic manner of the interview.

Amanda and Lorraine found themselves talking over one another throughout the chat, while the farmer could also be seen leaning against the horse and being overly animated during the discussion.

Others commented on Amanda's appearance as the mum showed off her trim physique in the flesh-baring ensemble.

Taking to X, fans voiced their concerns, including one who penned: "Is Amanda Owen ok? Seems a bit slurring and stuttery... #lorraine."

A second similarly shared: "#Lorraine What on earth... She’s obviously been given the horse to lean on. Should not have continued with interview."

"Amanda Owen looks in need of help. Right now. Welfare check asap. @lorraine @ITV," a third agreed, before a fourth said: "Yeah something is off #lorraine."

"Is Amanda ok? Something doesn't seem right #Lorraine," another asked before a sixth concerned viewer added: "She's not well bless her. #lorraine."

However, Amanda still received plenty of support from fans who applauded the Yorkshire Shepherdess for her TV appearance.

"Amanda Owen on #lorraine who has 9 children in the Dales looking incredible. Super woman," one fan praised.

And a second, similarly complimented her look: "@lorraine well it's obvious @AmandaOwen8 has been working out!" (sic)
