The pair have not been seen together publicly since March

Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon has reportedly split from her partner of 18 years, Azuka Ononye.

The 46-year-old singer and TV star has been quietly telling friends that her relationship with the 43-year-old choreographer has come to an end.

The couple, who share two daughters - Azura, 10, and Anaya, four - were last seen together publicly in March when they attended an event in Soho, London.

Their final red carpet appearance as a pair was at British rapper Stormzy's 30th birthday celebration in July 2023.

Suspicions were raised as recent photographs showed Dixon appearing to conceal her left hand, where she previously wore a jewel on her ring finger.

The BGT judge was notably spotted without her ring in October during promotional photos for the talent show.

While Dixon never married, she referred to Ononye as her "husband" during a 2017 appearance on Michael McIntyre's Big Show.

"Alesha's been quietly telling people close to her that she believes their relationship is over and they're going to separate," a source told The Sun.

The insider added: "She and Azuka have been together almost two decades but their relationship has become more like a friendship."

"They're devoted parents to their girls, who are 11 and six, and want to focus on keeping their relationship as amicable as possible for their sake," the source continued.

Dixon and Ononye first met in 2006 when he was hired as a dancer for her singing tour.

Their relationship deepened after Dixon suffered a foot operation, with Ononye showing remarkable dedication to her care.

"I had a foot operation and I couldn't walk. He was literally sleeping on the floor, looking after me every day," Dixon recalled during an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show.

She added: "I was just looking at him thinking, 'That is for better or for worse isn't it?' If he can carry me to the toilet, he's a keeper."

More recently, Ononye attended the film premiere of Wicked at London's Royal Festival Hall with their eldest daughter while Dixon was away.

The pair were both present at rapper Nas' gig at the Royal Albert Hall just last week, though they sat on opposite sides of the venue.

Dixon's last social media post featuring Ononye was in June, when he made a special cameo during her performance on the BGT live shows.
