Noel confessed he had crashed the family motorhome on their latest getaway

22 Kids and Counting stars Sue and Noel Radford clashed over an awkward incident in which the latter damaged the family's motorhome.

Britain's largest family set off for the countryside for their second staycation of the year when the 53-year-old crashed the £40,000 vehicle.

The family recently returned from another trip to Florida, USA but decided to make the most of the May Bank Holiday by getting back on the road with their motorhome.

The couple shared a video this week of Noel explaining an accident he had gotten into while driving, and the two seemed to clash during the conversation.

"When we arrived yesterday I reversed into this plot and thought, 'I need to straighten up a bit,'" Noel began.

"So I drove out and as I was driving out I could see the tap that the water is hooked up to. I thought, 'Oh, looks like I’ve just gone past it,' - I hadn’t gone past it."

He added: "I caught the tap on the back end of the camper and scratched it. I thought, 'Oh my God.'"

Wife Sue, 49, soon jumped in by asking her husband to continue with the story, adding: "Tell them what you did!"

"I’m getting to it," he snapped back before laughing: "Leave me alone.

"There's a bit of a scratch down the side," the father-of-22 added before the family matriarch cut in: "A bit? I'm fuming!"

"It'll rub out," Noel replied, but Sue wasn't reassured by his confidence.

"Not being funny right, but people say that women drivers are really bad," she stated, appearing in the camera after joining her husband.

"I just don't believe it," she continued, asking: "Because what else did you do to the motorhome?"

As Noel panned the camera back to himself, Sue could be heard fuming: "You need to show them that!"

He eventually explained he'd accidentally "smacked the wing mirrors" on the family's last staycation.

"If that tap had moved like it should’ve done for me it wouldn’t have happened," he argued.

It comes days after Sue launched a furious social media rant over trolls accusing the family of using "public money" to fund their getaways with their large brood.
