Noel and Sue Radford have been hard at work making changes to their Morecambe home

22 Kids and Counting fans have expressed their concern for Sue and Noel Radford's Morecambe home after the pair shared a peek at the decorations they're undertaking.

The parents of Britain's biggest family had hoped to leave their vast abode in Morecambe behind them earlier this year but had to U-turn to stay put after the deal fell through.

The Radford matriarch explained all earlier this year on social media when she explained to a fan: "No (the move) fell through and we decided that we didn't want a mortgage going into our 60s - too old for that now.

"I'm a big believer in everything happens for a reason and I'm so glad he took it off the market now."

Despite missing out on the new large renovated farmhouse they'd found, the Radfords have decided to make do and renovate their current home.

On Wednesday, they shared a video on their Facebook page sharing the latest developments of their overhaul as they got to grips with painting.

"Well I've just gone around cutting in in the grey because we're going to go back over this grey because it had dirty handprints and everything everywhere so I've just done that," the mum-of-22 began in the video.

As she toured their home, she continued: "Noel explained that we're going to be doing like a feature wall in this bit here.

"We've done one side of the (boys' room) blue. That needs touching up," she added as she entered a room where her husband was working, to which he said: "I'm hating this room.

"I said I'll set off in the easy room and it's just been a pain because it's so small, you can't move," he quipped, to which his wife reassured: "It looks better though, looks fresher."

The Channel 5 star then showed pen marks all over the wall from the kids before she remarked: "That's clearly what we do with a pen, isn't it?"

She then moved into one of the girls' rooms, explaining: "It will look much much tidier and fresher with a nice lick of paint. So I'm going to go feed the kids and come back and clear this room out."

Later in the video, Noel took the reins of the camera to show his other half painting with a bright shade of pink - but the pair's methods quickly caught the eye of baffled fans.

Several spotted that the husband and wife duo were painting without putting any protective measures down, risking damage to the rest of the home.

Baffled fans soon flooded the comments with their feedback, including one who penned: "Hi guys do you not do any sheets down or mascine tape, do you not get paint and glue and gloss everywhere. Thought you had bought your dream house guys, for the older ones to rent your home now and live in, why all the decorating."

"Risky painting with no dust sheets to protect the carpet or are you replacing?" a second concerned follower asked.

"Hi guys do you not use dust sheets and tape?" another chipped in before a fourth commented: "Should have got a Professional Decorater in"

"Where’s the protection on the carpet!!!" a fifth fumed before a sixth was also confused: "I don't know about other people but I have always done the ceiling and gloss before the walls." (sic)

The advice didn't appear to deter the Radfords who continued to get to work, being careful as they went along.

The pair and their vast brood will undoubtedly show off their new changes in new episodes of Channel 5's 22 Kids and Counting.
