The Radfords are undergoing some intense renovations in their home to accomodate for their large family

Noel Radford gave fans an insight into their home and the large renovations he and wife Sue have made - but revealed the "disaster" they came across when putting some wallpaper up in their dining room.

Their extensive renovations come after the family - who is known for being Britain's biggest family - were hoping to leave their home in Morecambe earlier this year but had to change their plans after the deal fell through.

Sue explained the reason behind the change on her Instagram and told a curious fan: "No (the move) fell through and we decided that we didn't want a mortgage going into our 60s - too old for that now.

"I'm a big believer in everything happens for a reason and I'm so glad he took it off the market now."

Despite missing out on the renovated farmhouse they were looking forward to moving into, the Radfords decided to redo the family home.

However, Noel recently took to their Facebook page to reveal the issues they encountered just moments into wallpapering the dining room and explained: "We've had a bit of a disaster. Uh.

"The paper underneath started coming off. When we put this paper on, we thought we'd get away with it. It's not working. So we're having to take all this off quickly before all these bits go dry and crusty."

The video jumped to later on in the day where he added: "Well, we've finally finished the dining room. Thank goodness for that. We've put the cow picture up there, which actually, now that's up there, I think it helps with the yellow splash back there.

"Sue's asked me to show you the wallpaper we got because people have been asking on Instagram where it's from. We got it from just our little local DIY shop actually. It's called Arthouse, heart of your home and it's called Keeka Bird Blue and it was £14 a roll.

"To be honest, I am absolutely shattered, I'm ready for bed. Quarter to seven I was up this morning on a Sunday. God knows why I was getting up that early but I did."

Sue later took over the video and showed fans around the finished area, and excitedly explained: "Well we are done. We've just finished glossing everywhere and I've got to say I'm thrilled with this kitchen dining room.

"What a massive difference like the wallpaper, what a brilliant find that was. We'd literally gone in to get some plaster and I went to have a look round the wallpaper and I thought, 'Oh, this is exactly what I'm looking for', and it actually went on really good."

Fans of the family were also left impressed with the redecorating, with one commenting on the post: "Looks fab! I feel you guys are like me..... you start a tiny thing around the house and it turns into a full-on overhaul."

"Excellent job you two and it does look stunning. The cow picture also looks good up there," another added before a third said: "Oh my goodness love it. Looking for this wallpaper."
