The 1% Club viewers claimed they had found an alternative answer to Saturday night's 30 per cent questions and pointed out the original answer's "glaring" error.
Each week, 100 members of the public are put to the test and work on their intelligence, common sense and logic skills with a series of questions ascending in order of difficulty.
Working down from 100, in increments of 10 and eventually five, the members are whittled down to a few who are smart enough to make it to the one per cent question.
However, this week it appeared that the 30 per cent question left viewers from home confused and riled up as they spotted the "error" and found an easier and "alternative" answer.
The question read: "Amrit and his grandad share the same birthday. Their birthday balloons arrive muddled up. Amrit's grandad is three times older than him. How old is Amrit?"
Four gold balloons were on display beneath the question shaped in the numbers six, eight, seven and two.
Viewers were left annoyed that the 30% question had two answers

It was anticipated the answer would be that Amrit is 26 years old, making his grandfather 78, however many at home thought that the answer should have also been 29.
One user took to the show's official Instagram page and commented: "My other half is adamant that his answer of 29 is also right. There's no string on those balloons, therefore you could turn the 6 upside down.
"3x29=87 What do you reckon? Was he still in, or was he out of the game?"
The Instagram user wasn't the only one who spotted the error, as one wrote on X: "Could've been 2 answers which is odd...flip the 6 round to a 9 and could've been 29 and 87."
This isn't the first time the show has been slammed for its easy questions
ITV
Someone else shared: "It could also be 29 ie one-third of 87? If I had put that in the studio I would expect to Appeal!!! Previous questions have used balloons to switch 6 and 9s!!!"
Another posted: "Hmm they should've drawn strings on the bottoms of the balloons if they wanted to avoid people turning the 6 upside down for 29 and 87. Glaring error there."
This isn't the first time this year that the show has been criticised for its questions, as many have previously claimed that the one per cent questions were becoming too easy.
In one of the previous episodes, the question read: "Using only two letters to fill in the blank, what is the word below? P _ _ _ E _ _ I _ N". To which the answer was "Possession".

Lee Mack's ITV show was slammed
ITV
While this is a question that apparently 99% of the public can't answer, plenty of X users got it right, with one slamming: "Don’t usually get the last question but I saw that one instantly. Easy peasy."
A third wrote: "Got it! Blimey I actually answered the 1% question!"
Another user jokingly wrote: "Getting tough this show,' to which The 1% Cub's Twitter account replied: 'We're tough cookies what can we say".
