This comes after a six-year-old girl was left with scars across her body after being mauled by a pack of XL Bully dogs.

Amelia, now seven, underwent urgent plastic surgery and receiving three operations in just eight days.

Bernard Valentine, 36, who owned the mutts, was charged with six counts of owning a dog which caused injury while dangerously out of control in a public place.

Valentine was living in a campervan outside his mum’s house two doors down from the Birds.

In December 2022, his dogs attacked a man and his Dalmatian.

Valentine was jailed or 49 months after pleading guilty to the charges relating to Amelia and admitting two further offences relating to the previous attack.
