Want to improve your credit score? Boshhh is the first mobile network built from the ground up to improve your credit score. To do that, it generates a credit agreement when you sign-up with the network and reports on-time payments to Equifax every month. This is a strong positive signal that’llstart to build your credit score.

Don’t worry about being accepted with Boshhh, as the mobile network doesn’t run a credit check when you apply for a contract. The brand proudly says that it will accept anyone onto its network to help them start to rehabilitate their credit score.

A credit score is a number that’s designed to quickly tell lenders how well you manage your finances. It indicates how likely you are to repay money, based on your history of using credit credits, loans, or paying monthly utility bills, including electricity and water. The higher your score, the more likely you are to be accepted when you apply for loans or credit cards, although it’s never a guarantee.

There are three credit reference agencies in the UK: Equifax, Experian and TransUnion. Each of these brands uses its own criteria and database to generate a score. As such, you might have a different score with each of these providers. Your score changes over time with your circumstances.

Boshhh has teamed up with Equifax for its service. Within the Boshhh mobile app, you’ll be able to see your Equifax score anytime of the day – so you can see the impact of your monthly repayments 24 hours a day. It will also provide extra tips to help improve your credit score free of charge.

There’s usually a bit of a delay between signing up for the network and seeing it logged on your file. According to Boshhh, it can take between 6-8 weeks for your mobile plan to appear on a credit file.

Boshhh doesn’t have its own nationwide network of masts but instead relies on the EE network.

RootMetrics awarded EE with the gong for best network performance for the 19th consecutive time. The network offers 4G speeds across some 99% of the UK population, while faster 5G services are only within reach for over 50% of the British public.

It’s worth noting that Boshhh only offers SIM-only plans, so you’ll need an existing phone or buy a new handset separately to use with the SIM card.

This is different to other mobile providers, which offer a single monthly repayment that includes the cost of a new phone and your calls, mobile data, and text allowance.

Plans start from £19.99 per month for 10GB of 5G data (as long as your smartphone is compatible, if not the EE-powered network will revert to 4G speeds) and unlimited calls and text messages.

You’ll also be able to take your full allowance of calls, texts, and mobile data abroad in Europe without paying any EU roaming charges.

This SIM-only deal is a 12-month contract. After that, you’ll be able to renegotiate to a new deal with Boshhh or, depending on how your credit score is looking, switch to another provider.

Boshhh monthly plans max-out at 100GB of 5G data for £29.99 per month.

“Joining Boshhh could be your first step on your journey to a richer life. We empower you to reach your money goals. And we’ll offer you help and support along the way. So whether you want to build your credit score, or just have a SIM card on contract — we can help,” the UK network promises.

All SIM-only plans from Boshhh arrive with a rotatting selection of discounts with over 75 retailers, including Vue Cinemas, Sainsbury’s, Costa, Spotify, ASOS, Uber, Greggs, and more.

This is similar to loyalty schemes like O2 Priority and Vodafone’s VeryMe Rewards, which offer discount codes and giveaways to mobile users each month.
