Rory McIlroy appeared to anger his 2023 Ryder Cup team-mate Robert MacIntyre during the second round of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
The Scottish DP World Tour event is one of the most unique tournaments with the opening three rounds rotated between three courses before the final round is played on the Old Course at St Andrews.
McIlroy began his tournament at Carnoustie with a round of three-under-par 69 to leave him in a share of 73rd place.
The second round saw the Northern Irishman paired with Billy Horschel at the Kingsbarn Golf Links as he looked to make a charge back up the leaderboard.

The likes of Brooks Koepka, Rasmus Hojgaard and Tommy Fleetwood were able to take advantage of scoring opportunities around Kingsbarn with low scores on Friday.
But McIlroy, the highest-ranked player in the field, once again struggled to give himself birdie chances.
He was playing behind Ryder Cup team-mates MacIntyre and Tyrell Hatton throughout the day and appeared to lose his patience at one stage.
The duo in front were on the 14th green with MacIntyre getting ready for his putt when his momentum was disrupted.
McIlroy took his tee shot and his ball trickled onto the green with MacIntyre turning around.
The Scottish golf star looked far from impressed as he stepped away from his ball and turned back to face McIlroy.
MacIntyre was still livid it appeared as he looked back at McIlroy a second time while Horschel also stepped up to the tee.
The American was unable to match McIlroy's feat of driving the green, but MacIntyre certainly didn't appear to appreciate the disruption to an important putt.

The Scot managed to recompose himself after the unexpected delay to sink his birdie putt.
But he dropped down the leaderboard after a double-bogey on the last left him in a share of 70th.
McIlroy will tee it up alongside LIV Golfer Dean Burmester in the third round on Saturday.

It will also see the PGA Tour walk the Old Course along with Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund (PIF) chief Yasir Al-Rumayyan.
Al-Rumayyan is paired with Burmester in the pro-am event while McIlroy is playing with his father, Gerry.
