The darts star has made his feelings clear

Luke Littler has suggested he's unhappy with Lewis Dunk getting into the England squad for Euro 2024 after Harry Maguire was left at home.

Maguire won't be playing at the competition in Germany due to injury, having been a regular for the Three Lions over the past six years.

The Manchester United star has admitted he's 'devastated' at having to miss the tournament.

He will return to Old Trafford to work with the club's medical team, having last played back in April.

Darts sensation Littler has reacted to the England squad, which was confirmed on Thursday.

And he shared a picture of Maguire on his Instagram story, adding the caption: "But Lewis Dunk gets in."

He then suggested he wasn't happy with the squad, sharing a post of the 26-man party and saying: "Lord help us."

England have, however, gone strong for the tournament as they look to win the European Championships for the first time.

They made the final of Euro 2020 three years ago but lost to Italy on penalties at Wembley, with Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka all missing from 12 yards.

England have picked three goalkeepers, with Jordan Pickford, Aaron Ramsdale and Dean Henderson all making the cut.

Dunk, Joe Gomez, Marc Guehi, Ezri Konsa, Luke Shaw, John Stones, Kieran Trippier and Kyle Walker are England's defensive options.

In midfield, Gareth Southgate has Trent Alexander-Arnold, Conor Gallagher, Kobbie Mainoo, Declan Rice and Adam Wharton to call upon.

And England's forwards consist of Jude Bellingham, Jarrod Bowen, Eberechi Eze, Phil Foden, Anthony Gordon, Harry Kane, Cole Palmer, Bukayo Saka, Ivan Toney and Ollie Watkins.

Southgate explained his squad at a press conference on Thursday.

And the England boss is confident they can win the Euros, saying he's 'hugely excited' about his 26-man party.

“There’s some disappointment today but there’ll be a lot of excitement about players we’ve selected and to see some of the players who mean we’ve got a different look about us in terms of how we play,” he said.

“I think people will be captivated by that.

"For some [players], they’ve had few opportunities to play at Wembley and that’s hugely exciting for them.

"I’m trying to conduct myself respectfully because of the players who have gone today. But equally I’m hugely excited about the squad.”

Maguire, meanwhile, has admitted he's 'devastated' after he failed to prove his fitness in time.

"I am devastated not to have been selected to play for England at the Euros this summer," he said.

"Despite my best efforts, I have not been able to overcome an injury to my calf.

"Maybe I pushed myself too hard, to try and make it. Simply, I am absolutely gutted.

"For me, representing England is the highest honour.
