A nuclear test veteran was left moved to tears on GB News today, after viewers raised over £35k towards an annual reunion for veterans.

Brian Unthank was exposed to radiation during British nuclear tests and he has suffered 93 instances of skin cancer.

Veterans and their families developed cancer, heart problems and even lost babies after they were exposed to radiation during British nuclear tests.

Speaking to GB News, Brian said: "I am totally gobsmacked with the beautiful generosity of you, the presenters and all of your viewers, I'm speechless, I really am."

The week long annual reunion takes place at Pontins, Sand Bay, Weston-Super-Mare and allows veterans to meet old colleagues.

It aims to reduce loneliness and improve the mental health of the veterans.
