Maggie Oliver has said that she is "just blown away" after a fundraising campaign launched by GB News raised £412,000 for her foundation, far exceeding its initial target of £100,000.
The Maggie Oliver foundation, which supports victims of grooming gangs, will use the donations to expand its vital work across Britain.
The grooming gangs scandal saw organised gangs sexually exploit hundreds of vulnerable young women and girls.
Maggie Oliver told GB News: "You know what, Patrick? It's going to be life changing. I'm so grateful to all of your viewers, because I think they share the same passion to help victims and survivors as I did when I started the charity.

"I used my own money. We have no money from the state or the organisations that can silence us. But victims have been silenced. They've not been heard, they've been blamed, they've been criminalised.
"And you know our charity, we are a tiny charity, you know, three full time staff, two part time.

"It's blown me away. I never in my wildest dreams ever anticipated this. And I'm just so grateful to you."
The charity receives no state funding and focuses on supporting victims who have been silenced, blamed, or criminalised.
The foundation provides comprehensive support through its network of 30 volunteer ambassadors, with 70 per cent being survivors themselves.

GB News"We fight alongside victims who have nowhere else to go. We advocate for them when they're being criminalized or their cases aren't being taken forward by the police", Oliver explained.
The charity offers crucial emotional support and practical assistance to survivors, including funded therapy sessions.
GB News presenter Patrick Christys spearheaded the campaign, initially setting a target of £100,000 through GoFundMe.
The response from viewers surpassed all expectations, with donations reaching more than four times the original goal.

The campaigner added: "They have been failed and we help them pick up the pieces of their life. We pay for therapy.

"We are offering life changing work, and my team are phenomenal, but now we can add to that team. We can grow our reach. "
