A body was found in a clothing recycling bin by a member of the public in Scarborough this morning.
Emergency services attended following the report and have since closed down the scene.
Officers were called at 6am this morning by a member of the public who made the discovery.
Police have confirmed that there are no suspicious circumstances around the man’s death and a file has been passed to the Coroner.

Detectives and specialist teams from the North Yorkshire Police were sent to the scene where a cordon was in place.
A force spokesperson said: "The scene in Scalby, Scarborough where a man’s body was found in a clothing recycling bin early this morning (Fri 17 Mar), has now been closed down.
There are no suspicious circumstances around the man’s death and a file has been passed to the Coroner.
The man’s family have been made aware and are being supported by officers."
A police cordon was placed around Newby and Scalby Village Hall and Scalby Tennis Courts.
It covered an area from Station Road to Scalby Road and included a village hall car park where most of the police activity was taking place.
