Watch the moment torrential rain crashes through the roof of a Waitrose in Buckingham, Buckinghamshire.
It comes after the Met Office issued an amber thunderstorm warning with parts of the UK set to be battered by heavy rain, lightning, hail and strong winds.
Shocking footage shows a corridor in the supermarket increasingly filling up with torrential rainfall as customers quickly scurry away from the scene.
The water pressure becomes too much for the roof to handle as it eventually crashes through, much to the shock of nearby shoppers.
Driving conditions could also become difficult and some communities could be temporarily cut off if roads flood, the Met Office added.
The warning, which covers parts of Leicester, Birmingham, Worcester, Gloucester and Oxford, will be in place until 7pm on Monday.
