Utrecht in the Netherlands secured the third spot on the list, flaunting a strong job market and attractive cultural scene.
"Utrecht is home to the Tivoli Vredenburg, a unique music complex, as well as the Centraal Museum, which showcases Dutch art and history," said Kristin.
The city's exceptional standards of living are also owed to its large green spaces according to the expert.
"One of the greenest cities in the Netherlands, a short distance from the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park."
