The study said: "If you crave the vibrancy of city life but aren’t quite ready to plunge into the bustling hubs of Madrid or Barcelona, Valencia is your answer.
"With a population of approximately 800,000, it ranks as Spain’s third-largest city.
"Nestled along the eastern coast, it boasts a thriving port area and a picturesque beach that stretches for miles."
