The two men will lock horns in Saudi Arabia next month

Tyson Fury has joked he wants the world to laugh at him if he loses his boxing fight with former UFC star Francis Ngannou.

The two men will go up against each other in Riyadh on October 28.

Fury has attracted criticism for fighting Ngannou, who has no professional record in boxing having previously mastered MMA.

And the 35-year-old has now revealed he wants the world to laugh at him if he fails to reign supreme.

"I need to be on my A-game," Fury said. "There's more on the line now than in a boxing fight.

"If I lose to an MMA guy I'll never be able to show my face in public again.

"It's going to ridicule me - people will chuck it at me forever.

"There's more riding on this than ever before.

"Whether the media want to take it as a joke, make no mistake Tyson Fury will leave zero stones unturned and I will come in as my fittest and strongest I've ever been to defeat this man.

"If I'm not and I get knocked out, then I want you all to laugh at me. That's what I want, because I deserve it."

Fury is known about boxing icon Mike Tyson, who is coaching Ngannou ahead of the blockbuster showdown in the Middle East.

And the former UFC star joked: "Too bad for him, Mike Tyson loves me more than him."

He added: "I have had these dreams since I was a kid to become a boxer today.

"It's not just that I'm going to box, but I am going to box the guy on the mountain.

"Nobody knows exactly what's going to happen. But what I do know for sure is I am going to be out there hunting for this guy's head, to take it off.

"What will happen at the moment that guy hits the floor and doesn't stand up?

"Will I be the best boxer in the world? If you take out the number one, you are the number one? I think so."

As for Fury, many would have preferred for the 'Gypsy King' to have a fight with Anthony Joshua, Oleksandr Usyk or another top heavyweight.

And he's now taken aim at Usyk following the Ukrainian's poor performance in his fight with Daniel Dubois.

Fury said: "I thought he lost [to Dubois] and he quit so he's a little, quitting [coward].

"And once you quit once you'lll always quit, just like we saw with Dubois. He quit too, so that was two quitters fighting each other.

"It's tough to say somebody's quit but Usyk quit with a body shot and rattled around the floor like a little [coward] for five minutes and the other one quit with a jab. But the truth is the truth and that's it.

"I thought he was a warrior, I thought he was a true little fighting man. But he's clearly not, he's just a little wussy.

"I've been hit full-on, right [below the belt] with the hardest punches you've ever seen, I didn't roll around like that.

"It is what it is, you're a fighting man or you're not and if you quit once, you will always quit again. My father told me that when I was a child. If you spew it once you'll always spew it and that's the facts of the matter. End of."

He continued: "If Usyk is a good little boy, he might be an option but if he isn't, he will just be another foreign middleweight that stays out in the cold.

"I will beat him, and I won't even look for a body shot either. I will knock him out with a chin shot if that fight ever happens.

"If he is a good little boy and takes a small percentage of the superstar's money then he will get a fight."
