Tottenham insist Harry Kane wasn't banned from their training ground prior to his move to Bayern Munich earlier this month.
The England international moved to the Allianz Arena in a huge deal worth around £100million, becoming the German giants' most-expensive signing in the process.
On Thursday, the Telegraph said Kane was denied the chance to say goodbye to his team-mates prior to his move away.
Tottenham apparently sent an email to Kane saying it wouldn't be 'appropriate' for the forward to visit their training ground shortly before he jetted out to Germany.

This meant the 30-year-old was also unable to take any of his possessions with him, too.
Yet The Sun say Tottenham deny this and insist Kane is welcome back any time, especially given how he's one of the best players in the club's entire history.
A Tottenham spokesperson said: "Following the agreement of a deal with Bayern Munich, Harry was given permission to travel to Germany and so was not required to train.
"He is expected to return to the club as soon as he can to say his goodbyes. Harry and Daniel [Levy] have exchanged messages including best wishes on the birth of his son, Henry.
"As conveyed publicly, he is regarded fondly by all at the club and is always welcome."
Kane has been nothing short of outstanding since moving to Bayern.
His time at the club started badly, with RB Leipzig cruising to a 3-0 victory over Thomas Tuchel's side in the DFL-Supercup.
Kane was then given a first Bayern start against Werder Bremen.
And the former Spurs striker got his first goal in that showdown, before following that up with a brace in Bayern's 3-1 win over Augsburg on Sunday.
Speaking after his heroics, Kane insisted Bayern could still improve as they look to win every major trophy this season.
The England skipper said: "It was a good win in the first home match of the season.
"We created good chances and could've scored even more. There's still room for improvement in the final third of the pitch for us.
"Overall, it was a good performance from us. We have great quality in the team.
"I love the chemistry in the team, we're growing together more and more.
"It's been a crazy and exciting few weeks for me. It's all positive."
Bayern boss Tuchel backed up Kane's comments, insisting he was happy with his side's win.
"Of course we are happy with the result, you can see that on the players' faces," said the 50-year-old.
"I'm pleased to see that the players are celebrating.
"Still, I still see room for improvement. At the beginning of the game, we weren't free enough, so it took an own goal and a penalty to ease things up.
"Then we played solidly until the final whistle and grew in confidence.

"In the end, it was a deserved victory, even though we unfortunately conceded another goal. But we should just look at the positive things. It's all about wins."
