The 17-year-old was back in winning form on Wednesday

Luke Littler got his revenge over Radek Szaganski by whitewashing him in a European Tour qualifier on Wednesday.

The teenager lost to the Polish-Irish bus driver in the Players Championship 2 on Tuesday but beat him 6-0 less than 24 hours later.

Littler is in the middle of his busiest week as a professional darts player so far after bursting onto the scene at Alexandra Palace in December.

He participated in the Players Championship 1 and 2 on Monday and Tuesday, making his debut in ProTour events.

Littler won the tournament on Monday, beating Ryan Searle in a thrilling final in Wigan after hitting a nine-darter earlier in the day.

He won all seven matches on the first day but was knocked out in the second round on Tuesday at the last-64 stage.

Littler had overcome a tough test in the first round, beating Dutch star Danny Noppert.

However, Szaganski, a Poland-born player who works as a bus driver in Cork, pulled off a big upset with a narrow 6-5 win.

The pair were back in action on Wednesday at the same venue in Wigan and were drawn against each other in the opening round of the ET1 Tour Card Holder Qualifiers.

Each event will see 10 players qualify for a tournament, with entry to next month's Belgian Darts Open the first up for grabs.

Littler went into the day knowing he had to win all three of his matches in order to qualify for the competition in Belgium.

And he got off to the perfect start in the first round, beating Szaganski with ease.

Littler clearly sought revenge for Tuesday's surprise loss and dealt out a 6-0 whitewash over his 44-year-old opponent, averaging just under 100.

The teenager then beat Mervyn King 6-3 in his next match, this time with an average of just under 93.

Littler faced Maik Kuivenhoven in the Top 20 section, knowing victory would secure his attendance at the Belgian Darts Open.

And he overcame the Dutch player in a last-leg thriller, winning 6-5 and ensuring he will be in Belgium for the event which takes place between March 8 and 10.

Littler plays again this afternoon in the ET 2 Tour Card Holder qualifiers.

If he wins all three matches then he will gain qualification for the German Darts Grand Prix which takes places from March 30 to April 1.

Littler has stunned the world of darts with his performances since his amazing run at Ally Pally.

But he needs to play ProTour events in order to gain enough qualification points to qualify for other majors this year.

Earlier this week, he revealed he is eyeing up entry into a couple of big tournaments.

Littler said: "Me and my manager know what I have to do to qualify for the World Matchplay and the World Grand Prix so, after [winning] the first event, I'm not far off.

"I know I've got about 13 or 14 ProTour [events] before the Matchplay, but it's always good to get off to a good start. I want to try and qualify for everything."
