Jack Carlin seemed to be okay after being checked out by medics at the Paris Olympics on Sunday.
The 27-year-old cycling star was sent crashing to the floor after a three-man collision on the final lap of the men's keirin final.
Carlin attempted to make a late play for bronze, having already won two medals out in France so far this summer.
However, he ended up crashing to the deck after a collision between Japan's Shinji Nakano and Malaysia's Muhammad Shah Firdaus Sahrom just in front of him.

There was concern for Carlin in the immediate aftermath of the crash.
His skin suit was ripped and medics hurried over to treat him.
Fortunately, Carlin was able to get back to his feet as he walked away from the scene with a look of frustration on his face.
Medics offered to put a neck brace on the Team GB star but he politely declined that offer.

Carlin's crash means one of Team GB's last hopes for a gold medal is now over.
He had previously been part of the side that claimed silver in the men's team sprint, while he also secured bronze in the individual sprint.
The crash comes less than 24 hours after Ollie Wood was also involved in a scary collision.
The 28-year-old was headbutted by a rival while competing in the madison final, with the Netherlands' Jan Willem van Schip disqualified.

And Wood admitted he felt like a 'crash test dummy' after the crash, with the Team GB star saying: "He hit me so hard. I felt like a crash test dummy. I will survive. I didn't see anything."
He continued: "It's just a bit different when you get hit from behind - you don't see it coming. There are a lot of people resting and riding at any one time.
"Instead of taking a high line around the track, I thought he'd cut it a bit fine and just ploughed into me.
"I've not watched it back. I'm trying to catch my breath.
