Mason Greenwood decision imminent as Man Utd have three options on the table

Manchester United are set to make a decision on Mason Greenwood imminently, according to reports.
The England international had charges of attempted rape and assault dropped back in February, having last played for the club 13 months previously.
United have spent six months conducting an internal investigation into Greenwood, who has previously been labelled one of the most talented players of his generation.
And the Daily Mail say the Red Devils' decision is 'imminent' with an announcement set to be made before the start of the new Premier League season.

United know they need to clarify Greenwood's future, with the 21-year-old eager to resume his career in football.
And they have three options on the table, too.
United could re-integrate Greenwood into the squad and give him the platform to play the sport he loves again over at Old Trafford.
Greenwood has made 135 appearances for the club across all competitions and has been training as he looks to maintain his fitness.
That could prove to be a controversial decision among United's sponsors, however.
And that's why there are two other possibilities, too.
United could loan out Greenwood. There's been talk of a temporary move to Italy, with Juventus and Atalanta among the teams linked.
Or they could sell him completely - which would allow all parties to start afresh.
Greenwood is currently under contract at United until 2025, with the club also having the option to extend his deal by a further 12 months.
What ultimately happens remains to be seen, with the Red Devils also on the verge of bringing in a new striker in the form of Rasmus Hojlund - who will cost an initial £64million.
Erik ten Hag recently batted away questions over Greenwood while speaking on United's pre-season tour of America.
"It's a club decision and, of course, I've shared my opinions but it's a club decision and we all have to accept that," said the 53-year-old.
"I can't say so much about it but I shared my opinion about it, so let's see what's going to happen."
And United legend Wayne Rooney recently expressed a belief that Greenwood leaving Old Trafford would be best for everybody involved.
“It leaves Mason Greenwood in a position where he is stuck," he told The Athletic.
"So for Mason, it’s a bad position to be in because I’m sure he just wants to play football.
"But for the club, its image and ensuring they make the right decisions, it’s almost a catch 22.
"I think the best thing for Mason now is to get out of the club and go and develop somewhere else.
"He needs to get back playing because it has been a long time.
"With everything that has happened and how long the internal investigation has taken, it’s probably got to a place now where Mason just needs to go and play and to try and get his career back on track.

"It’s a difficult position for Mason but for the club as well.
"You have to make sure you get to the right decision before moving forward and it looks like they’re really struggling to get to that place.”
