The 30-year-old has been in sensational form since his move from Tottenham back in the summer

Harry Kane has admitted he's found it difficult trying to get his children into a school in Germany following his move to Bayern Munich.

The England skipper opted to leave Tottenham for the Bundesliga giants back in the summer in order to win the silverware he craves.

Kane has dazzled in the time since, scoring 18 league goals from just 12 appearances.

He's also bagged five more in other competitions, too, to take his total to 22 for the season so far.

Yet while Kane has flourished on the field, not everything has been plain sailing away from the pitch.

Speaking to Four Four Two, the 30-year-old has opened up on the difficulties he's had trying to get his children into a German school.

"I've had lots of personal stuff to take care of, aside from football," he told the publication.

"Trying to sort out schools for the kids and somewhere to live can take time.

"It's about finding that balance between performing on the pitch and making sure all of those other bits are sorted as well."

Kane has been living away from his family.

He's jetted back to England to spend time with wife Kate and his three children but his stints back in his homeland have been brief.

Kane has, however, established himself as one of Bayern's leaders in the short time since his move.

He has struck up a good rapport with veterans such as Manuel Neuer and Thomas Muller.

And Kane is grateful for their help, saying: "They've all been really kind.

"Manuel [Neuer] has been out injured but he was often at the training ground and it was great to catch up with him.

"Everyone speaks English well, which helps.

"Joshua [Kimmich], Leon [Goretzka] and Thomas [Muller] have been talking to me, helping me find my feet.

"This is a club full of leaders with great experience, and they've made me feel like part of the team straight away.

"The entire squad is fantastic and I'm just enjoying playing alongside them.

"Even now, I'm transitioning into the Bayern blueprint with each game."

Kane has done his best to embrace the culture of German football, too.

He wore lederhosen gear for Oktoberfest last month and was snapped drinking beer with his team-mates.

And Kane has admitted he enjoyed himself, with the veteran adding: "I'd seen images of Oktoberfest in the past and it's something I've always been intrigued by. "One of the nice things about moving to a different country is getting to dive into the culture and traditions.

"To enjoy the day together and learn what it's all about was very special."
