Rory McIlroy has revealed he is battling an elbow injury as the Masters rapidly approaches.
The Northern Irishman tied for fifth at the Houston Open, where Min Woo Lee claimed victory.
"My right elbow's been bothering me a little bit, so maybe just get some treatment on that and make sure that that's okay going into Augusta," McIlroy said.
Despite the physical concern, he remained positive about his performance in Houston.

"Look, it was a good week," he said. "I still feel like I've got some stuff to work on, but overall, a solid week."
McIlroy addressed his driving issues by making a subtle equipment change during the tournament.
"I just took a little bit of loft off it," he explained after adjusting his driver on Saturday evening.
"I felt like it was getting a little bit spinny, especially if I wanted to hit cuts off the tee.

"It definitely went through the wind better today, and felt a little more comfortable with it leaving here and going towards Augusta."
McIlroy will now focus on addressing his elbow issue and fine-tuning his game before heading to Augusta.
"I've got my coach, Michael Bannon, coming in tomorrow. We'll do some work. And, you know, make sure that everything's in good shape for a week's time," he said.
The four-time major champion plans to use the coming days for targeted practice and treatment.
"It's nice to have a week to work on some things," McIlroy noted.
"I still don't think my game is 100pc under the control I want."
The 35-year-old then proceeded to explain the specific areas he plans to focus on during his preparation for Augusta.

"It's just about feeling as comfortable as I can be with the things I've been working on, which is iron play, wedges, obviously, short game is really, really important around Augusta as well," he said.
"I'll work on those things over the next few days, and hopefully I'm feeling good going in there."
Meanwhile, with weather in America causing some chaos in recent times, trees have been cut down at Augusta.

And McIlroy, speaking earlier this week, admitted that he'd noticed a big change from afar.
"The loss of a few trees is definitely noticeable," he said.
"But in terms of like they've had to redo that green, it's exactly the same as it was.
"Apart from maybe a few less shadows on the green late in the day because of a couple of trees that were lost, it's pretty much the same."
