Rory McIlroy is set to reveal intimate details about his brief divorce saga in the upcoming third season of Netflix's golf documentary series "Full Swing".
The show, which premieres on February 25, captures the Northern Irish golfer's personal struggles throughout 2024.
The 35-year-old world number three will open up about balancing his roles as a professional golfer, husband and father during a tumultuous year that saw him file for divorce before reconciling with wife Erica Stoll.
In May 2024, McIlroy filed for divorce from Erica Stoll, stating their marriage was "irretrievably broken" and requesting split custody of their daughter, Poppy.

The filing came just one day after his victory at the Wells Fargo Championship in Charlotte, which Stoll did not attend.
However, by June, the couple had reconciled. "Over the past weeks, Erica and I have realized that our best future was as a family together," McIlroy told The Guardian in a statement.
The golfer dismissed various rumours about his personal life during this period.
In newly released footage from the Netflix series, McIlroy is seen speaking on the phone, stating: "The Netflix cameras are following me right now."
In a candid confessional moment, the golfer reveals: "I've struggled with trying to be the best golfer, the best husband, the best dad."
The documentary series will feature McIlroy alongside other top players including Scottie Scheffler and Bryson DeChambeau.
McIlroy's professional journey in 2024 saw him secure two PGA Tour victories and win the DP World Tour Championship for a third consecutive time.
Despite leading the US Open with four holes remaining, he finished second to DeChambeau at Pinehurst after three costly bogeys.
At the DP World Tour's Race to Dubai last November, an emotional McIlroy reflected: "I've been through a lot this year — personally, professionally. It feels like the fitting end to 2024."
