Mohamed Salah has entered the final year of his contract at Liverpool
Mohamed Salah is desperate to stay at Liverpool despite his contract expiring at the end of the season.
The Egypt international has entered the final year of his contract and there has been little update from the Reds over an extension.
Salah even admitted after his man-of-the-match performance against Manchester United that he is in the 'final year' of his career at Anfield.
But according to the Liverpool Echo, the 32-year-old does not want to leave Liverpool anytime soon amid rumours that the Saudi Pro League will make him a mouth-watering offer to make the switch.

However, Salah has become somewhat reluctant to think about leaving the Premier League for the Gulf state anytime soon.
And that is down to his old pal Sadio Mane, who signed for Al-Nassr to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo last year.
But the Senegal international, who spent one season at Bayern Munich, has failed to truly shine in Saudi Arabia.
He has served as a cautionary tale for Salah, who still believes he has plenty to offer Liverpool despite no new contract being on the table.
The former Chelsea star is the club's best-paid player - and also the highest earner in Liverpool's history.

However, the forward has proved he is worth the money with a brilliant start to the season with three goals and three assists in three Premier League appearances.
That includes his two-assist haul against United on Sunday, as well as a second-half strike to put the result to bed in a 3-0 win for the Reds at Old Trafford.
After the match while speaking to Sky Sports, Salah raised eyebrows by making the out-of-the-blue statement that it was his last time at the famous ground.

"Honestly, I had a good summer," Salah said.
"I had a long time to stay with myself, try to think positive because as you know it's my last year at the club.
"I just want to enjoy it, I don't want to think about it but I feel free to play football, we will see next year."
