Liverpool skipper Virgil van Dijk has suggested he could follow Jurgen Klopp out the door when the German departs at the end of the season.
The 56-year-old confirmed on Friday that he was ready to leave Anfield behind, having ran out of energy during his time in the dugout.
Van Dijk has been a key player for Liverpool ever since being signed by Klopp back in the January transfer window of 2018.
The Netherlands international has helped the club win the Premier League, Champions League, Carabao Cup and FA Cup during his stint on Merseyside.

But Van Dijk has now suggested he could leave Liverpool, admitting he's unsure if he'll be part of the club's future.
“That’s a big question. Well, I don’t know," he said when asked if he'll be part of the next era.
When asked about having 18 months left to run on his current contract, he continued: "That is correct; good maths.
"Listen, I don't know. The club will have a big job on their hands, that is well known.
“To replace the manager and replace not only the manager, the staff is leaving, and there are so many things that will change.
"So the club has a big job on its hands and I am very curious which direction that will go in.
"But when that will be announced we will see our situation, I can’t say now.”
Van Dijk is, for now, focused on giving Klopp a fairytale ending to his time in the dugout.
Liverpool remain in the hunt for a historic quadruple as the matches continue to come thick and fast.
They're top of the Premier League table, five points ahead of Manchester City having played one game more.
They're through to the final of the Carabao Cup, while they're still in contention for FA Cup glory.
And Liverpool are going strong in the Europa League as well, a tournament they'll be hoping to win for the first time since 2001.
Van Dijk says he's glad to still be a part of the Klopp era.
And he's urged his team-mates to stay focused and together as they look to win every trophy possible.
“Obviously it will be the end of Jurgen Klopp’s era," he continued. "I am very glad that I am still part of it.

"That is why I don’t like to speak about it. I am still part of it.
"That is my main focus now and we will see at the end of the season.
“Hopefully we have the success that we all dream of and fight for each and every day.
"By then there will probably be more clarification about what the club wants for the future and then we will see.
“Obviously things will change at the end of the season and in the new season but at the moment it doesn’t.

“We are all human beings and we have emotions.
"Some players feel different about the manager’s announcement than others: that’s absolutely normal because everyone thinks in different ways but I didn’t notice the professionalism being dropped or the level of standard.”
