Thomas Tuchel won't be intervening when it comes to Lee Carsley's England squad for upcoming matches with Greece and the Republic of Ireland, reports say.
The German was confirmed as Gareth Southgate's replacement last month, having previously been linked with the Manchester United job.
England return to duty next week, with Carsley set to oversee their next two matches before returning to his role as coach of their Under-21s.
Tuchel is not officially set to start work in his new position until January 1.

And the Daily Mail say the German won't be intervening when it comes to Carsley and the squad he picks for England's next two matches.
While the Nations League is largely insignificant, at least compared to the World Cup and European Championships, it will give players a chance to impress.
Tuchel isn't even expected to attend the two matches.
Instead, it's claimed the new England boss plans to watch the games from home so he can 'monitor his players from afar'.

England are set to be without several big names for the two showdowns.
John Stones, Kobbie Mainoo, Jack Grealish and Eberechi Eze are all currently doubts for the matches.
One positive thing for England is, however, the return of Reece James.
The Chelsea star has started his side's last three league matches against Liverpool, Newcastle and Manchester United.

James was unavailable for selection back in the summer due to injury.
Yet with the 24-year-old now fully fit, Carsley may be tempted to include him in his squad.
Three other players could also be drafted up.
Jarrod Bowen is in contention after impressing for West Ham, having managed five goal involvements from 10 matches.

Morgan Rogers has been terrific for Aston Villa, while Newcastle's Lewis Hall may also be selected given England's issues at left-back.
Hall was outstanding on Saturday as Eddie Howe's side beat Arsenal 1-0 following an early goal from Alexander Isak.
And Joe Cole lavished praise on the 20-year-old after the game, saying on TNT Sports: "He is making a brilliant case, mainly because of his performances but also Luke Shaw has been injured and [Ben] Chilwell has not kept himself as fit as he would like and that opens up the conversation.
"But he is such an intelligent and well-mannered and respectful boy, he knows he just has to keep playing like he did today.

"That was a massive test by the way, he is playing against Saka who is bang in form, and he dealt with him quite comfortably.
"Saka was not at it today and Lewis Hall, and his team-mates around him and the structure that Eddie [Howe, Newcastle manager] put them in helped out massively, but he was brilliant and I think I can see a very bright future for him."
