England are in talks with Thomas Tuchel about potentially becoming the country's next manager, according to reports in Germany.
The Three Lions are currently considering their options when it comes to replacing Gareth Southgate, who quit the job back in the summer following his side's failure to win Euro 2024.
Lee Carsley has taken interim charge of the team in the time since. However, on Thursday, England were poor as they crashed to a 2-1 defeat to Greece on his watch.
The 50-year-old also hinted that he expected to return to the Under-21s set-up, leading to speculation about who could take over.

Now, according to German outlet BILD, the FA are in talks with Tuchel about being given the keys to Wembley.
It would be a major coup if they were able to bring the former Chelsea, Bayern Munich, PSG and Borussia Dortmund boss in given everything he's achieved during his career.
Tuchel has won league titles in Germany and France, while he famously guided Chelsea to Champions League glory back in 2021.
The 51-year-old has been linked with the position at Manchester United amid the fallen giants' nightmare start to the season under Erik ten Hag.

But Tuchel could now replace Southgate instead, with the Red Devils keeping faith with Ten Hag for the time being.
Should he become England manager, he'd become the third foreign boss in the Three Lions' history.
The late Sven-Goran Eriksson was the first, with the Swede spending five years in the post between 2001 and 2006.
England reached the quarter-finals of World Cups in 2002 and 2006 in that time, while also making the last eight of the European Championships in 2004.

The second was Fabio Capello, who was appointed following England's failure to qualify for Euro 2008.
They looked like they'd be a force under the former Real Madrid and AC Milan boss when they effortlessly qualified for the 2010 World Cup.
That tournament ended up being a disaster, however, with Capello then quitting after a row with the FA over the decision to strip John Terry of the captaincy in 2012.
Carsley, meanwhile, opened up on his chances of landing the England job after the defeat to Greece.

And the former Everton star said he was surprised to have been dubbed the favourite.
He said: "I was surprised after the last camp [to hear], ‘The job’s mine, it’s mine to lose.'
"My remit is I am doing three camps and then hopefully going back to the Under-21s...
"I said at the start that I wouldn’t rule myself in or out.

As well as Tuchel, Eddie Howe and Graham Potter have been linked with the role.
Howe is currently working with Newcastle, while Potter remains a free agent following his sacking from Chelsea in April last year.
