The Eagles lost their opening match of the season to Brentford on Sunday
Eberechi Eze has revealed Samuel Barrott told him he'd made a 'mistake' after disallowing his goal for Crystal Palace against Brentford on Sunday.
The England international thought he'd opened the scoring at the Gtech Community Stadium after a terrific free kick sailed into the net.
But Barrott opted to disallow his goal, much to the frustration of the winger.
Palace went on to lose 2-1, with Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa striking to give the Bees all three points.

And Eze has now revealed details from his talks with Barrot, with the 26-year-old saying: "I was told (by the referee) that he blew too early and made the mistake.
"It could have changed the game but we have to deal with it. It wasn't our only chance.
"If we perform like that then we'll do well. It's a game, you're going to make mistakes as a referee and unfortunately, it happened to us today.
"You'd hope it'd even out throughout the season."

Eagles boss Oliver Glasner was also frustrated, with the Austrian left to rue his side's bad luck.
"Very disappointed, especially with how the game was going," he said.
"The referee whistled no goal, a tight offside was called, their winner was twice deflected, it is very disappointing today.
"Many things we did very well but we also have to be critical and we conceded too many goals.

"We have to analyse, but we created many situations where we could have scored.
"Many things were positive but if you lose 2-1 it is a negative."
He continued: "It is over. It is what it is. We talk about what we can influence. In many situations we could do better. We are not in the rhythm we should be, no excuse it is the situation.
"The team did OK but it was not the best performance we can show."

Brentford boss Thomas Frank, meanwhile, admitted his side were a tad fortunate.
But he also thinks that the goal should have been disallowed regardless due to a foul in the box.
"You can say that," he said when asked if the Bees were lucky.
"It is a foul. We had the exact same situation against Sheffield United last year. It would have been disallowed anyway."

On Ivan Toney, who was left out of the squad, the Dane continued: "There's been a lot of things around Ivan with transfer rumours and activity. That is why he didn't feature today.
"There's things going on, but it is not potentially close."
