Coleen Rooney has opened up about the challenges her family faced during their move to Washington D.C., whilst appearing as a special guest on Sky Bet's 'Stick to Football' show.
The Liverpool-born star, who recently finished as runner-up on I'm a Celebrity, shared candid details about relocating to America in 2018 when Wayne joined D.C. United.

Wayne Rooney moved to Washington ahead of his family, with Coleen waiting until the children's school term had finished before joining him.
"Wayne went before us, and I waited until school finished [for the kids] and then planned on going for two years – then come back again for my eldest to go to secondary school," Coleen explained.
The mother-of-four's primary concern was her children's wellbeing during the transition.
She revealed her first thoughts were "as long as the kids were ok," emphasising the importance of finding good schools in their new location.
A significant challenge emerged when the family discovered the nearest British school was located an hour away from their intended residence in Washington.
