Alisha Lehmann insists pay gap between her and boyfriend Douglas Luiz is 'unfair'
Juventus star Alisha Lehmann has vented her fury at the wage gap in football after hitting out at her boyfriend Douglas Luiz's salary.
The football couple both left Aston Villa in the summer to join Juventus, becoming the first-ever boyfriend and girlfriend transfer in the process.
However, the finances involved were anything but similar with Luis joining the Italian giants in a deal worth £50million.
The fee for Lehmann was never disclosed but it is understood it was a only a fraction of what Juve paid for her partner.

Luiz penned a long-term contract with Juventus worth £100,000 a week while Lehmann makes around £200,000 a year.
And the 26-year-old, who spent seven years at Villa Park, hit out at the wage gap in women's football compared to men's.
She told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "Everyone would like to have the same salary.
"I often speak to Douglas at home about this and tell him it's not fair.
"We do the same job, but he gets paid a hundred times more than me.

"It's something that affects me because I'm a woman. Obviously, there's still a long way to go on the path we're on because there may never be equal pay.
"There will have to be a very strong will to make a change in this direction."
The Switzerland international also hit out at critics of the women's game and has suffered abuse from internet trolls for many years.

She added: "If someone comes to me with jokes, I always ask them 'have you ever seen a match?' Probably not, because when you see a match you realise how good and passionate we are."
Lehman boasts an Instagram following of 17 million where she posts an array of pictures including her playing football and posing at home.
But she has insisted her life is far from as luxurious as some might think, adding: "I don't live like a star, but like everyone else.

"When people see you on social media they think you live a different life, but that's not the case.
"I live a normal life. I go home, I cook, I do the same things as everyone else.
"Of course, it's nice when people recognise you on the street."
