The former Formula One driver came out as gay in July

Ralf Schumacher's ex-wife, Cora Schumacher, has seemingly burnt her wedding dress amid her ongoing row with the former F1 star.

The couple married back in October 2001 but went their separate ways in February 2015 after 14 years of marriage.

Then, back in July, Ralf announced he was gay and in a relationship with a man named Etienne.

He said at the time: "The most beautiful thing in life is when you have the right partner by your side with whom you can share everything."

Ever since then, however, Ralf and Cora have rowed - both publicly and privately.

Cora said last year that she had 'wasted her best years' being married to the former F1 star, who is the brother of Formula One legend Michael Schumacher.

The former Playboy model has also revealed that she felt like she had been 'stabbed in the heart' upon learning of the news.

And their ugly war of words has now continued, with Cora taking aim at Ralf on German TV show 'Uber Geld spricht man doch!'.

Per Bild, she appeared on the show showing the charred remains of the dress she wore when she married Ralf 24 years ago.

She said: “This is the rest of my wedding dress from Escada. I don't even know why it's still here.”

Cora has repeatedly insisted she had no idea Ralf was gay until he announced his new relationship.

Ralf, for his part, has hit back and claimed that his ex-wife was in the loop and had even wished the duo well for the future.

Cora said last year: "I wish Ralf had included me or at least let me be part of his decision.

"It would have been a sign of respect. During his career in F1, there were many rumours in the paddock.

"I asked him to clarify if what was being said was true, but he always denied it, telling me that I was imagining everything and that maybe I needed psychological help.

"When he announced it, it was like a stab in the heart.

"Coming out always affects those around you, including the ex-wife with whom you had a child. Today I feel used during the marriage. I feel like I've wasted my best years.

"I ask myself many questions. Was he honest with me?

"And there's something even more important that's on my mind: did he love me?

"I trusted him blindly and that's why his word was law for me."
