This, according to Brundle, was because a German newspaper did a poor job of translating comments.
Even to this day, the Sky presenter is baffled by their fall-out. They did, however, make up following a boozy night out in Spain.
“Well, weirdly, we fell out because something I said was translated, taken out of context and translated into German and put in a headline and newspaper," he recalled.

The F1 icon hasn't been seen in public ever since a tragic skiing accident in December 2013.
Schumacher was on holiday in the French Alps when he tragically veered off course and hit his head on a rock.
Though he was initially conscious, the Ferrari legend was then air-lifted to hospital and placed in a medically induced coma.
