Luke Littler has admitted he will be placing his World Darts Championship trophy right beside his television after his thumping win over Michael van Gerwen on Friday night.
The 17-year-old crushed the Dutchman 7-3 at Alexandra Palace to become the youngest world champion in history, surpassing his opponent in the process.
Littler was beaten by Luke Humphries in the final of the same competition 12 months ago, having burst onto the scene in north London.
There was to be no repeat on Friday evening, however, with the talented teenager producing a masterclass as he secured glory.

Littler has now been asked where he'll be placing the Sid Waddell trophy, having moved into a huge mansion in Warrington last year.
And the darts star has said that he's got no plans for a man cave because he intends on placing the silverware right where he can see it.
“When we moved into the house, there were two cabinets on either side of the TV," he said.
“We were like: ‘There’s only one thing going in there, and that’s all the trophies.’

“Will I get a man cave? Not at the minute. I just have to see where it goes.
“Yeah, I’m very different to a normal 17-year-old. I am glad I’ve gotten into this darts world.
“I don’t go out, wandering around the streets. I have really knuckled down on this sport.”
Few had heard of Littler just over a year ago.

But the prodigy is now a household name and has risen to No 2 in the PDC Order of Merit in the wake of his remarkable win.
While it was a brilliant night for Littler, it was a frustrating one for Van Gerwen - who was simply no match for his young rival.
And the Dutchman admitted that he left himself too much to do, having trailed 4-0 at one point.
"I went 4-0 behind and after that I thought I wasn't doing myself any justice, but that's the way it is," he said.

"You need to try to fight and battle back and I think after going 4-0 down, I was definitely not the worst player out of us. But fair play to him, every chance he got and every moment he had to hurt me, he did.
"I had a lovely tournament and I enjoyed every moment of it.
"We all know I've come from a far distance and I've been battling my own game, but at the beginning of the game I was letting myself down too much and when you do that against a player with his ability, you're going to be in trouble.
"You have to take it on the chin, move on and walk off the stage as a champion.
