The 20-year-old is the toast of the tennis world after he saw off Novak Djokovic earlier this month
Nick Kyrgios has invited Carlos Alcaraz to play an exhibition match together in the wake of the Spaniard's stunning Wimbledon triumph.
The 20-year-old claimed a second Grand Slam title of his career earlier this month, beating Novak Djokovic in five sets.
Alcaraz has been regularly hailed by his fellow professionals ever since, with many tipping him for a bright future.
And the youngster can now count Kyrgios among his admirers, too, after the Aussie posted a message on social media.

Writing on Instagram, he said: "He is a force for sure.
"I would have loved to see how it would have gone down last year when I was healthy and playing lights out...@carlosalcaraz what about next year in your town we do an exhibition?"
Kyrgios and Alcaraz are yet to face off against each other.
But a match between the two would likely sell well, with the pair among the most-popular players on the ATP Tour.
Kyrgios is currently focused on recovering from injury, with the 28-year-old recently forced to withdraw from Wimbledon.
And he recently confirmed he could retire from tennis early while making it clear he won't play into his late 30s like Novak Djokovic.
"No f*****g chance. No way," he said.
"Bro, there's no chance I'm playing until 33.
"Kyrgios playing until 33 is insane. I'm not playing until 33. Nah, I promise you, when I'm gone, you'll never see me again.
"The schedule is out of control. I'm getting old, I'm getting old.
"Twenty-eight, yeah - but all the drinking and partying, I'm like 57."
As for Alcaraz, the Spaniard will be the favourite to win the US Open when that competition kicks off next month.
The 20-year-old won the competiton last year, beating Casper Ruud in the final to secure the trophy.
One person he'll have to contend with, providing they both progress to the latter stages of the tournament, is Djokovic.
Djokovic is set to make his return to Flushing Meadows, having last played at the US Open back in 2020.
The Serb has been prevented from participating in the two competitions since then due to his coronavirus vaccination status.
But with President Joe Biden lifting restrictions, he's now free to take part again.
Djokovic is suffering from fatigue and recently withdrew from the National Bank Open in Toronto.
He explained that decision by saying: "I have always enjoyed my time in Canada but after speaking with my team, we believe this is the right decision to take.
“I would like to thank Karl Hale, the tournament director, for understanding this decision.
