The 35-year-old will be returning to the ring on Saturday for the first time since October

Tyson Fury has promised a 'surprise' ring walk that has 'never been done before' as he prepares to battle Oleksandr Usyk on Saturday night.

Excitement for the biggest fight of the 21st century is rising, with Fury and Usyk both hoping to become undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.

And whenever the Briton is involved, there's always a show.

Fury spoke to the media on Wednesday and has promised a spectacle to those attending the event at the Kingdom Arena, with the 35-year-old saying he'll have a ring walk 'surprise' in store.

“I’m on top of the world, baby! Who wouldn’t be enjoying it?" he enthused. "I’m in the great Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

"This is the main event. It is the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world.

“Keep tuned. Keep your eyes peeled. We’ve got some big stuff coming over the next few days.

“I always have a crazy little ring walk. And you wouldn’t expect anything different for the biggest fight in your life, would you?

"I don’t think it’s ever been done before, so it’s definitely going to be a surprise.

“This is absolutely fantastic. All these great people have come out to support the boxing event in Saudi Arabia.

"We’re looking forward to putting on a fantastic show for the world to watch.”

Fury is undefeated going into the clash.

He has won 34 of his 35 career fights, with a draw against Deontay Wilder in December 2018 the only time he's failed to come out on top.

And Fury believes it's his 'destiny' to win the contest, despite Usyk representing the toughest test of his lengthy career to date.

“I cannot wait for Saturday night, it’s going to be epic. If I was fighting an old dosser on Saturday night who had five fights and lost them all, it’s still very important to win,” Fury said.

“Every fight I’ve ever had is important to win. Any six-rounder, eight-rounder, 10-rounder – all of them are important.

“I believe every left and right turn I’ve taken, every time I’ve fallen over, every time I’ve got up – it’s all been leading to this moment. It’s destiny.”

Usyk, however, is in confident mood himself.

The Ukrainian is seen as the favourite to win, having amassed 21 victories throughout his own career so far.

And Usyk, speaking to the Daily Mail, is determined to win for the people of Ukraine amid the ongoing war in Russia.

"We are fighting for our lives. Either we are going to be free or we will be destroyed," he said.

"I believe in Ukraine even more than myself and I do believe in myself that I will beat Tyson Fury.

"For me, the fight with Fury is important. Winning four belts is important. Being undisputed champion is important.

"But more importantly it's about giving that feeling of joy to my Ukrainian people.
