The duo will go up against each other in Saudi Arabia on February 17

Former heavyweight champion Bermane Stiverne thinks Tyson Fury could retire after his fight with Oleksandr Usyk.

However, he also believes the Gypsy King may be tempted to lock horns with Anthony Joshua or Francis Ngannou if he reigns supreme in Saudi Arabia next month.

Fans are eagerly looking forward to the showdown between Fury and Usyk.

Both men are unbeaten and there's plenty on the line as a result.

Stiverne is expecting Fury to come out on top, despite the 35-year-old struggling against Ngannou back in October.

And he thinks the Gypsy King potentially retiring is something that's not entirely out of the question.

"I think Tyson Fury had an off night against Francis Ngannou and we will see a different fighter against Oleksandr Usyk and I think he wins the fight," he told Betway.

"He is the bigger fighter and is like a middleweight.

"He is tall, can move and is awkward so I have to go with Tyson Fury to win that fight.

"Maybe he retires after that fight or he has the Francis Ngannou rematch and to tick all the boxes he fights Anthony Joshua.

"Fury doesn’t have anything left to prove after the Usyk fight. I’m not classing the Ngannou rematch as a proper fight though.

"The Joshua fight isn’t as big as it was but if Joshua comes through Francis Ngannou then it will create talk of that fight and it would be the biggest fight between two British fighters of all time.

"Fury is the favourite to win that fight if he does fight Anthony Joshua, but this is heavyweight boxing and anything can happen."

The former boxing star also thinks it's time for Deontay Wilder to walk away from the sport.

The Bronze Bomber was rocked by Joseph Parker back in December.

And Stiverne added: "If I am Deontay Wilder I would retire.

"There is nowhere else for him to go.

"I don’t think it was a case of inactivity, he just didn’t have the answers and it was the wrong fight for him to take.

"The Anthony Joshua fight is dead.

"After he knocked out Robert Helenius, he made a statement to the world that he was back, but he couldn’t do that against Joseph Parker.

"He’s still a good fighter but he should be picking opponents rather than accepting somebody like Parker.

"Now that he has lost to Parker, I just don’t see where he can go.

"He shouldn’t agree to fighting Zhilei Zhang in Saudi Arabia.

"The fight between Joshua and Wilder should’ve happened years ago before he lost to Andy Ruiz Jr.
