John Fury has hit back at criticism of his son, Tyson Fury, ahead of the Gypsy King's showdown with Oleksandr Usyk on February 17.
The 35-year-old is currently training for the fight in Saudi Arabia as he looks to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion since the days of Lennox Lewis.
Fury is one of the best boxers of his generation having overcome the likes of Wladimir Klitschko and Deontay Wilder over the years.
Usyk will pose one of his toughest tests yet, however, with the Ukrainian unbeaten from all 21 career bouts so far.

And John, speaking exclusively to GB News via Boxing Free Bets, believes his son gets too much criticism and has done 'everything that's required as a British citizen'.
"Well, it's the green-eyed monster isn't it," he said when asked about the flak Fury receives.
"He's in a position now where a lot of people would only dream of being in, and jealousy is a terrible thing.
"It don't bother us. We're used to that kind of thing, it's been going on for a long long time with those sort of people.
"Because like I said before, in our culture there is no good and bad. It seems to be you're all bad, you're all second-rate citizens. And that's just the way it is.
"We're used to that you see. It's been going on for a millennia hasn't it.
"But we know we're nice people, we know we're respectful, we know we try to do what's right.
"And Tyson has given a lot to this country. He earns massive amounts of money, pays massive amounts of tax, he's not run away to another country to save his tax.
"He pays his dues, he lives here, he's done a lot more than these people that they worship have done.
"He's not run away. He's done everything that's required of him as a British citizen and more.
"And when Tyson's retired it'll be a long time before those accolades will be held in Britain again."
Fury has been widely condemned for the way he performed during his narrow victory over Francis Ngannou at the end of October.
He was knocked down in round three of that fight but proceeded to win via split decision.
John was among those who admitted he was concerned by the way the 35-year-old operated at the time.
But the 59-year-old has hailed his son and thinks Fury is capable of winning even on a bad day because of his natural boxing ability.

"He knows what he's got to do Tyson and he can do it on a bad night," he continued.
"That's what makes a champion a champion. They can pull it out of the bag and that's what Tyson's good at.
"He's proved it. He's done it before and I don't see a problem to be honest.
"Don't get me wrong, Usyk's a very good fighter. But he's an ex-middleweight coming up through the ranks and he's had some wars with big men.
"He's had 24 rounds with AJ, a big strong man. He got beat up in both of those fights but he got the decision.

"He got plenty of stick. He went the full tail with Derek Chisora and co, Chazz Witherspoon, at the end of the day I've not seen much of a heavyweight to be afraid of.
"Tyson should cruise to a confident win."
