The Gypsy King is set to return to the ring on December 21

Boxing star Oleksandr Gzvozyk believes Tyson Fury has made a 'confession' ahead of his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk later this year.

Fury and Usyk recently played out a classic in Saudi Arabia, with the Ukrainian narrowly winning on points.

Earlier this week, footage went viral showing Fury being escorted out of a bar in his beloved Morecambe.

His inner circle are said to be concerned about the boxing star, who has long battled addiction during the course of his career.

Fury has since updated fans by taking to social media, showing off his punching power and vowing to be ready for the rematch on December 21.

And Gvozdyk, per Boxing News 24, has claimed the 35-year-old has made a 'confession' with his latest upload.

“Fury was in some bar, and people were carrying him," he said.

"Today, it was like a confession. He was saying, ‘I know I’m going to be in the best shape,'”

Gvozdyk has also warned Fury that Usyk will be even tougher to beat when they lock horns later in the year.

For sections of the bout last month, Fury was on top.

However, he was left reeling in the ninth round when Usyk landed a flurry of punches - causing his opponent discomfort in the process.

And Gvozdyk has called on Fury to get in 'even better shape' as the Gypsy King looks to avenge his defeat.

“It’s going to depend on Fury because Usyk is going to be ready, believe me," he said.

“I know this guy, and he’ll be even better.

"What Fury is going to be able to show, we’ll see because I’ve heard that after psychological stress, Fury goes on drugs and alcohol.

“We’ll see how he’s going to handle it this time.

"If he’s in better shape, we’ll see a better fight.

"Usyk will be at least the same, but I think even better. It depends on Fury."

Fury had been unbeaten prior to his defeat to Usyk, making his defeat all the more painful in the process.
