Tommy Fury and Jake Paul still have plenty of beef between them

Boxing star Tommy Fury has offered to fight Jake Paul one more time - but not in the boxing ring.

Fury and Paul famously clashed in February 2023 in a fight that built up plenty of bad blood between the two as they got personal with their insults.

In the end, Fury emerged victorious over the YouTube star by split decision to inflict the first defeat on Paul's boxing career.

But there has long been talk of a rematch due to how close the fight ended up being while Fury might turn to MMA to entice Paul.

Only this week was it revealed that Paul was readying a new career move into mixed-martial arts after his boxing match against Mike Tyson has concluded.

After sparring with UFC heavyweight interim champion Tom Aspinall, who is a close pal of the Fury family, he revealed his intentions in a video on YouTube.

"Jake Paul’s in the PFL, isn’t he?" Fury said to Aspinall.

"I'm gonna smash his face in when I get good at MMA. I’ll beat him in boxing and the cage.

"I reckon a year-and-a-half, to two years of training, until I’ll beat him in a fight no problem in the cage.

"I swear to you, next time I fight him, I’ll knock him out. In MMA, I just want to give him a big fat [knee strike]. All elbows, no fists."

PFL (Professional Fighters League) is a mixed-martial arts league launched in 2018 and has high hopes of rivalling the UFC for the biggest fights in the sport.

And CEO Peter Murray has already admitted that he is readying a debut for Paul in the sport as he looks to enter a new era of his career.

"We're lining it up, Jake is finishing up boxing this year with this massive fight against Mike Tyson then a lot of planning is going into Jake Paul's debut in 2025 and we'll be sharing those details," said Murray.

"Jake is committed to fighting a very, very credible, well-rounded MMA fighter and it's not easy to cross over from boxing into MMA.

"The crossover from MMA or other disciplines into boxing is a lot easier."

Paul faces boxing legend Tyson, 58, in the ring on November 15 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas but signed terms with the PFL last year.

And, who knows, a potential first contender could be Fury - at least the playing field will be somewhat level considering they have never fought an MMA fight before.
