Iron Mike could be primed to face an old rival if he wins his upcoming showdown with Jake Paul

Rick Ross has claimed that Mike Tyson is set to fight Evander Holyfield at his mansion in Georgia once the boxing icon's showdown with Jake Paul is out of the way.

Iron Mike is currently preparing for his bout with Paul, with the duo due to do battle on November 15.

Speaking at a recent press conference, Tyson refused to say that the upcoming bout would be his last.

The boxing legend is still passionate about the sport, having retired from professional boxing all the way back in 2005.

American rapper Ross has now taken to his Instagram story to say that he's going to arrange a clash between Tyson and Holyfield.

The pair previously fought at the peak of their powers in 1996 and 1997, with Tyson infamously biting Holyfield's ear in the second clash.

And Ross also said that the fight is set to take place in his 'front yard' of his massive mansion in Georgia.

Dubbing the fight 'Thrilla in Manila III', Ross said: "Once Tyson knocks out Jake Paul, I'ma get Tyson and Holyfield to fight in my front yard.

"I'm going to put a ring there.

"I want the judges to be Snoop Dogg, Kevin Hart and DJ Akademiks. The ring is gonna be right there at the Promise Land."

Despite Tyson biting Holyfield's ear in 1997, the duo are believed to have a good relationship with each other.

They were even snapped hanging out earlier this year.

Discussing his decision to bite Holyfield in 2009, Tyson admitted that he saw red and allowed his fierce temper to get the better of him.

"It doesn't make no excuse for what happened, but I was just enraged and I wanted to inflict so much pain on him," he said at the time.

"I was just p****d off that he was such a great fighter, too.

"I was just mad at him."

"For me, it's going to be a glorified sparring session.

"When Mike boxed Roy Jones Jr he hit Roy with a body shot and sunk him - and Mike knew he could hurt Roy Jones.

"Anybody that Mike hits is going to hurt, probably knockout as well but he carried Roy Jones.

"I never believed Mike Tyson could carry anybody because when I sparred him at Catskill, every punch he threw was with bad intentions. He was a vicious, ferocious, savage heavyweight.

"To see him mellow with age is wonderful and to see what he did with Roy Jones is incredible."
