Anticipation is building as the bout creeps closer

Jake Paul has revealed Francis Ngannou's prediction for his upcoming boxing match against Mike Tyson.

The highly anticipated bout is set to take place on Friday, 15 November at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The fight will be broadcast live on Netflix, marking a significant event in the streaming platform's foray into live sports.

Despite Paul being the betting favourite, Ngannou believes Tyson will emerge victorious. The former UFC heavyweight champion expects the 57-year-old boxing legend to turn back the clock and secure a knockout win.

Paul shared Ngannou's prediction in an interview with TMZ Sports. He said: "Mike is big and beefy, and thick and strong.

"Francis actually said that he thinks Mike is going to knock me out, which is funny. But I do have to be careful in the early rounds because Mike has that crazy, crazy punching power."

Ngannou's prediction favouring Tyson is unsurprising given their close friendship.

The former UFC champion was coached by Tyson for his showdown with Tyson Fury last October, with the Cameroonian losing despite flooring the 36-year-old.

Despite Ngannou's prediction, Paul remains confident in his abilities. He told TMZ Sports: "100 percent, man [I am confident].

"A pro-fight means war and I don't take it lightly. You can get seriously hurt or injured in there.

The 27-year-old enters the bout with an impressive professional record of 10 wins and 1 loss. His most recent victory came via TKO against Mike Perry in July, with Perry stepping in for Tyson after his recent ulcer flare up.

Paul is currently riding a four-fight winning streak, with victories over Ryan Bourland, Andre August, and Nate Diaz. His sole career defeat was a split decision loss to Tommy Fury last year.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer has also notched notable wins against former MMA champions, including Tyron Woodley (twice), Ben Askren, and Anderson Silva.

As for Tyson, his last professional bout came all the way back in 2005 when he lost to Kevin McBride. He thought Roy Jones Jr in an exhibition four years ago, with that clash ending in a draw.
