Canelo Alvarez left furious after win over Edgar Berlanga - 'I got a little angry'

Canelo Alvarez has admitted he was angry with Edgar Berlanga's tactics as he won their fight on Saturday night.
The Mexican defended his WBC, WBA and WBO super-middleweight world titles after the judges scored in his favour.
The bout in Las Vegas went the distance, with Alvarez dropping his rival in the third round before eventually seeing out the clash.
Speaking after his win, the 34-year-old admitted he was furious with Berlanga's tactics - but was proud to have won their showdown at the T-Mobile Arena.

"I got a little angry with his tactics, but I'm Mexican man," he said.
"It means a lot to fight on this day [Mexican Independence weekend]. It's an honour to represent my country on this day.
"We are warriors and we never give up. I'm going to rest and then I'm going to decide what's next."
Alvarez then proceeded to boast he was the best fighter in the world right now.

"I did good. Now what are they going to say? They said I don't fight young fighters," he continued.
"They always talk, but I'm the best fighter in the world."
While it was a big night for Alvarez, it was a disappointing evening for Berlanga.
The 27-year-old has now suffered the first defeat of his career - and Berlanga admitted he was 'upset' after failing to reign supreme.

"I'm upset because at the end of the day I'm a winner," he said.
"I fought a legend tonight and did my best to represent Puerto Rico.
"We're fighters and we try to throw our opponent off their game.
"I took his best shot and I knew I could take his punches and return them. I could have jabbed a lot more, but I was in there with a legend."

Alvarez, meanwhile, was then asked about the possibility of going up against Terence Crawford.
Crawford actually called out the Mexican after his win in Las Vegas, showing he's down to battle in the ring.
However, the 34-year-old refused to be drawn on speculation they could fight and simply said 'no comment' when asked about facing Crawford.
On Berlanga, and his failure to win via knockout, he said: “What are 12 rounds for? For showing who is the best. I did that.

"The knockout is special. I did what I needed to win the fight.
“(Berlanga) didn’t fight like he used to fight. He defended himself a little more. That’s why what happened happened, but I did what I needed to win the fight.”
