Zara Tindall is set to "continue to enjoy public duties" in the wake of Princess Anne's injuries, a PR expert has exclusively told GB News.

The Princess Royal's daughter and her husband, Mike Tindall, were spotted at Wimbledon earlier this week, marking Zara's first outing since her mother was discharged from hospital.

In June, Princess Anne spent five nights in hospital with a concussion after suffering a blow to the head on her Gatcombe Park estate.

She stepped back from royal duties for a few weeks but was seen for the first time since her accident on Friday.

Sarah Lloyd, a PR expert from ISPR, spoke exclusively to GB News to explain how Zara, 43, should approach public outings amid Princess Anne's recuperation.

Lloyd said: "I suspect that Zara will do as she has always done, which is what has always been right for herself and her family.

"Zara appears to be a well-rounded and real royal and I believe that she will still continue to enjoy public duties if it feels right to her.

"When something like this happens to your mother, it can shock and remind you that we are all human, and accidents like this can rock even the most grounded individuals."

Zara and her older brother Peter Phillips, 46, both live on Princess Anne's Gatcombe Park estate.

The brother and sister duo were present on the night the Princess Royal suffered her accident, according to a Palace spokesperson.

Zara was photographed visiting Princess Anne during her five-night stay at Southmead Hospital in Bristol.

According to reports, the Princess Royal's children are helping care for their mother amid her recovery, alongside Sir Timothy Laurence, Anne's husband.

When Anne was hospitalised, Buckingham Palace issued a rare health update.

They said: "The Princess Royal has sustained minor injuries and concussion following an incident on the Gatcombe Park estate yesterday evening.

"Her Royal Highness remains in Southmead Hospital, Bristol, as a precautionary measure for observation and is expected to make a full and swift recovery.

"The King has been kept closely informed and joins the whole Royal Family in sending his fondest love and well-wishes to The Princess for a speedy recovery."
