Zara Tindall made a stylish appearance at Cheltenham Racecourse on Saturday, wearing a coat that appeared to pay tribute to her cousin Prince William.

The King's niece, 43, wrapped up warm in a £659 LK Bennett coat featuring a Prince of Wales checked print, perhaps a subtle nod to William's current title.

The single-breasted, A-line style coat featured gold coin buttons and was adorned with a chocolate brown faux fur trim on both the collar and cuffs.

The winter ensemble included a tie belt and fell just below the knee, with the coat's heritage-inspired design drawing attention as she arrived to open the Retraining of Racehorses Awards.

Completing her polished look, Zara accessorised with a £165 headband from Camilla Rose Millinery in a rich burgundy shade.

The mother-of-three opted for luxury accessories, including £290 Monc sunglasses to shield against the winter sun.

Her choice of footwear consisted of £465 leather boots from Fairfax & Favor, paired with a matching £325 burgundy handbag from the same brand.

The royal kept her blonde hair elegantly pinned back for the occasion, finishing the ensemble with sleek black gloves.

Zara attended the prestigious event without her husband Mike Tindall and their three children to open the annual RoR Awards.

It was her first public sighting since returning to the UK from Australia, which she visited alongside Mike.

The ceremony, held on Festival Trials Day at Cheltenham Racecourse, celebrates the versatility of former racehorses. This year marks a special milestone as the organisation commemorates its 25th anniversary.

The event aims to celebrate the incredible versatility of former racehorses and recognise those who champion them in their post-racing careers.
