Princess Anne's daughter and her husband stepped out at Centre Court on Wednesday

Zara and Mike Tindall snubbed the chance to sit in the Royal Box at Wimbledon on Wednesday.

The Royal Family came out in force, with Queen Camilla, Zara, Peter Phillips and Princess Kate's parents taking their seats at Centre Court.

Despite Mike, 45, and Zara, 43, being among the members of the Firm at Wimbledon, they did not have seats in Centre Court's Royal Box.

The privilege was extended to Zara's older brother Peter Phillips, the eldest son of Princess Anne, who sat and watched the Centre Court action alongside his new girlfriend, Harriet Sperling and Queen Camilla.

However, there did not seem to be a place for Zara and Mike in the box.

The royal couple sat elsewhere for their day at the tennis tournament due to one of Zara's jobs.

As well as being a champion equestrian, the mother-of-three is also a brand ambassador for several luxury firms, including upmarket watchmaker Rolex, one of the tournament's main sponsors.

At Wimbledon on Wednesday, Zara sat in seats reserved for those invited by Rolex rather than with her older brother, his girlfriend.

The Princess of Wales's parents were also at Wimbledon on Wednesday but were not in the Royal Box.

However, they did bag the prestigious seats when they attended the tournament last week.

Entry to the box is by invitation only, and there are just 74 luxury seats available.

Invitations are extended to heads of government, people from the world of tennis, commercial partners, British armed forces, prominent media organisations, and supporters of British tennis, among others.

Queen Camilla looked relaxed on her surprise trip to Wimbledon on Wednesday to watch the quarter-final action on Centre Court.

She was dressed in a cream linen dress featuring large giraffe motifs by Anna Valentine, with a Jack Russell brooch from Van Cleef and Arpels.

After arriving at the championships, Camilla met former player Laura Robson, who works in international player relations.

The Queen told Robson: "It is so nice to be able to escape for a day."
