Prince Harry's timing of an upcoming trip to New York appears to be tactical, a royal commentator has claimed.
The Duke of Sussex has announced plans to travel to New York during UN General Assembly High-level Week and Climate Week.
Climate Week starts on September 22 and ends on September 29, while High-level Week begins on September 23 and runs until September 27.
Prince William's Earthshot Prize is also holding an event in New York that week.

The Earthshot Innovation Summit is scheduled to take place at the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan on September 24.
However, the Prince of Wales will not attend the event in the US.
It is unlikely that William would have chosen to reunite with Prince Harry even if the two brothers had been in New York at the same time.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told GB News that the overlap between the two events appears to be deliberate.
Fitzwilliams said: "I think the timing was in Harry's mind when he arranged this simply because he knew it would get extra publicity.

"William does not intend to go over [to New York] for the summit for Earthshot."
During a statement confirming the trip, a spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex named four organisations that Harry will represent in New York.
The spokesperson said: "He will participate in engagements with African Parks, The HALO Trust, The Diana Award, and Travalyst.".
The Duke of Sussex has strong ties with all four organisations and has represented them individually at many events.
The spokesperson added that Harry will be in New York to "advance a number of his patronages and philanthropic initiatives.".
