Queen Camilla has warned King Charles against meeting with Prince Harry next week, according to a source.

The Duke of Sussex will be in London on Monday to attend the WellChild Awards.

It has not been confirmed if Harry and Charles will meet during his time in the UK.

In February, the father and son held a 45-minute meeting at Clarence House after Harry rushed back to the country of his birth following the news the monarch had been diagnosed with cancer.

However, Harry has made two trips to the UK since then but has not seen King Charles during either of them.

During his visit to the UK in May, the Duke of Sussex released a statement confirming he would not be able to see his father due to the King's full diary of engagements.

If Harry was to see Charles during this upcoming trip he would need to travel to Scotland.

The monarch will be based in Scotland ahead of an upcoming engagement in the country and has no plans to travel back to London during Harry's time in the UK.

However, the King's wife Queen Camilla does not want the monarch to hold a meeting with his son, according to an insider.

King Charles is still receiving treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer.

They told the Daily Beast: "She has been the principal voice urging Charles to slow down and take things easy.

"The last thing she wants him to do is to get stressed out over a meeting with Harry."

However, a separate source says the King would be open to seeing his son as he wants to reconcile with Harry amid their ongoing feud between the Sussexes and the Royal Family.

The source said: "The king has an instinctive impulse towards Christian reconciliation, and his cancer diagnosis has only sharpened that.

"He wants this settled, not just because he loves both his sons, but because it has been so destabilising for the monarchy."
