Queen Camilla, Princess Beatrice and Zara Tindall have all had a day out at Wimbledon this summer

Princess Eugenie has been absent for 10 years from an event Royal Family members love.

The Princess of York has not been pictured at Wimbledon since 2014.

Her sister Princess Beatrice attended this year's event on Tuesday alongside her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

The Princess of York was visibly gripped by the compelling matches that unfolded in front of a packed crowd.

Queen Camilla, Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips have all attended Wimbledon this week.

Princess Kate's mother Carole Middleton has been spotted at the tennis tournament twice this summer and her sister Pippa stepped out at the event today for her first public appearance in months.

Royal Family members are regularly pictured watching matches unfold from the Royal Box.

It is unclear why Princess Eugenie has stayed away from the tennis tournament for a decade.

Last year, Prince William and Princess Kate brought their two eldest children Prince George and Princess Charlotte to watch the men's singles final.

Kate admitted that their youngest child Prince Louis was "very upset" about missing the event.

The Princess of Wales normally presents the trophies to the men's and women's singles winners at the tennis tournament.

The royal is awaiting her doctor's advice on whether she is well enough to attend the event amid her preventative chemotherapy treatment.

Wimbledon and Kensington Palace are not expected to provide an update on whether Kate will be at the tennis competition before Saturday.

Despite this Princess Kate has made her feelings clear regarding the potential upcoming appearance, an insider has claimed.

A source told The Daily Beast that the Princess of Wales would "dearly love" to attend Wimbledon at the weekend and present the trophies to the winners.
