The Duke of York hopes to bequeath his lease to his two daughters
Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice could inherit two homes from Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson in the future - with one described as a "nest egg" for the sisters.
The Princess' are set to receive Andrew's Royal Lodge and Fergie's two-bedroom in Belgravia, central London.
Andrew's lease has 54 years remaining on it and the prince plans to honour the terms of the agreement - despite pushback from King Charles.
Currently, the Duke of York hopes to bequeath the lease to Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.
However, the King has requested that the Duke of York moves out of the Royal Lodge and into a smaller property, with Frogmore Cottage seen as the most likely option.
Andrew has refused to budge and is under no obligation to vacate the Royal Lodge with over five decades remaining on the lease he signed in 2003.
Fergie's £4million apartment has seemingly been lying empty for a period of time despite purchasing the property without a mortgage two years ago.
The property has been described as a "long-term investment" for their daughters.

GettyHowever, official Land Registry documents state that Fergie cannot sell the home without written consent from her daughters.
One source has claimed that this could be because the sisters have paid money towards the sale.
Royal biographer and historian Andrew Lownie said the apartment is "purely an investment".
"It's basically a nest egg for their two daughters. I think it's purely an investment," he told the MailOnline.

"He [Andrew] has grandchildren, the two girls grew up there. I think it's a complete red herring."
If Andrew and Fergie are kicked out of Royal Lodge, there are a number of other properties they could live.
The most likely option is Frogmore Cottage but Wood Farm and Garden House - located on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk - are also contenders.
